The ceremony takes place in front of a hand-painted skyline of Chicago (where Matthew proposed), while their best friend pulls double duty as both officiant and flower girl. During cocktail hour in the courtyard, guests visit the photo bus and use a clever polaroid display to find their seats for dinner. Long rows of farm tables and cross back chairs provide family-style seating complementing Arielle’s Italian roots. Lush greenery and the soft glow of candlelight provide a warm and romantic ambience while gold chargers and flatware add a hint of glam. At their seats, guests are treated to wood-carved nameplates and personalized mugs filled with the couple’s favorite coffee.
