Caroline and John’s winter white wedding at The Vinoy Resort and Mirror Lake Lyceum in St. Petersburg is the picture perfect definition of timeless sophistication and romance. The stage at the Lyceum is transformed for the ceremony with soft white draping, a wooden cross and an abundance of flowers - floral arrangements and garland consisting of white roses and hydrangeas, subtle accents of blush roses and plenty of lush greenery. The Terrace at The Vinoy provides sweeping views of Tampa Bay for cocktail hour and The Grand Ballroom (known for its famous Chihuly chandelier) is breathtakingly transformed with hues of white and gold to host 250 guests for dinner and dancing. The neutral palette highlights the ballroom’s architecture while the rich greenery adds stunning texture and a pop of color. While guests are seated at round tables with a combination of tall and low centerpieces, the full bridal party is dramatically featured in a row of feasting tables with a gorgeous floral garland runner. And despite the larger size of the ballroom, amber uplighting and plenty of candlelight creates a wonderfully intimate feel.
